English Premier League outfit QPR are keen on Lyon full-back Anthony Reveillere and could launch a swoop for the 33-year-old this month.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, QPR have cast their eyes towards the Stade Gerland as they bid to bolster their backline, and Reveillere may be allowed to leave.

Lyon are looking to cut costs and the veteran defender takes home a hefty pay packet, and with the emphasis very much being placed on youth by Remi Garde’s men, Reveillere’s departure would make sense.

Reveillere has played for Lyon since 2003 and enjoyed the club’s dominant period in French football.

He picked up Ligue 1 titles in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Reveillere would undoubtedly be tempted by a move to Loftus Road, with playing in the Premier League a real draw.

A dependable defender, the Frenchman has made 16 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon this season, as well as five starts in the Europa League.
