Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has refused to rule out the possibility of the wealthy French club buying Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo’s future at the Bernabeu has been placed in some doubt with concern that he is unhappy at Real Madrid and may not sign the new contract the club are planning to offer him during the summer.

PSG have been suggested as a potential destination for the Portuguese superstar and the French side would have the funds to pull off such an audacious swoop.

And Leonardo admits that at the Parc des Princes, everything is possible, including signing Ronaldo.

"PSG have become a club where everything is possible", he told French sports daily L’Equipe, when asked about signing Ronaldo.

"But Cristiano Ronaldo still has a long contract with Real Madrid and one does not just do that with Real Madrid.

"Today, when we speak of the departure of a great player like him, there are four or five clubs where this [his arrival] can happen and now PSG are one of them."

Speculation linking Ronaldo with a switch to PSG is sure to continue, especially with the French side having been mooted as wanting to appoint Jose Mourinho as coach at the same time as buying his countryman.

Real Madrid would no doubt demand a high price to sell Ronaldo however, even if PSG could afford almost whatever the Spanish giants ask.
