Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has refused to be drawn on further potential additions for the Reds during the current transfer window.

Rodgers has already splashed some cash, signing striker Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea, after which he was quick to declare not much remains in the way of transfer funds.

But speculation has continued to link Liverpool with a number of players and it is possible the club could dip into the market again.

Rodgers though was refusing to play the transfer speculation game when he held his press conference today.

"You can rattle off 20 names and the answer will be the same. We’ll see what happens", he said, via his club’s official feed.

And the former Watford manager stressed that the main bit of business has been done, as it was signing Sturridge.

"Daniel was our main priority", stated Rodgers.

There are a whole host of players that Liverpool have been linked with, not least Inter schemer Wesley Sneijder.

And earlier today the club’s managing director Ian Ayre stressed his belief that Liverpool can attract any player in world football.
