AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is confident that the Rossoneri can agree a deal to bring Kaka back to the San Siro.

Talks between Milan and Kaka’s club Real Madrid are under way, with all parties keen to get a deal done, though there are obstacles, including the Brazilian’s salary and Los Blancos’ demands for a fee.

But it is thought to be just a matter of time before Kaka is back at the club he left in 2009.

And Berlusconi is confident.

"I am optimistic", the Milan president told Sky Italia.

"Kaka is a great player, but also a great man. We have always carried him in our hearts."

For Milan, signing Kaka would be a big boost, given that they have shed big name players in recent years; the deal would most likely be a loan, for as long as 18 months.

Only this summer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva moved to Paris Saint-Germain, and the arrival of Kaka would raise spirits.
