Manchester United are on the verge of securing the signing of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

According to the BBC, the 20-year-old forward is due to have a medical with Manchester United during the next 48 hours ahead of sealing his switch to Old Trafford.

Manchester United are thought to be paying a fee of £15M for the Ivory Coast-born talent, who will pen a five-and-a-half-year contract with Sir Alex Ferguson’s men.

Zaha will instantly be loaned back to Crystal Palace to finish the season at Selhurst Park however.

The forward, who won his first cap for England last year, was named the Football League Young Player of the Year last season.

He has been linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger admitting to having followed Zaha’s progress closely.

But it is at Old Trafford where he will bid to realise his potential, starting next season.
