Harry Redknapp has questioned Yann M’Vila’s decision to move to Rubin Kazan.

The QPR boss wanted M’Vila at Loftus Road and worked hard in order to make a deal happen. But Rubin Kazan came in with a €12M bid for the midfielder, while M’Vila himself was offered a lucrative four-and-a-half-year contract.

And he has gone to play his football in the Russian Premier League, much to Redknapp’s disappointment.

Indeed, the former Spurs boss told French radio station RMC that M’Vila’s decision left him "disappointed".

The QPR boss, who had been attending the Paris Saint-Germain vs Toulouse Coupe de France clash, further commented that: "This is a bad choice for his career."

Redknapp has been forced to switch his attentions elsewhere as he looks for a midfield enforcer.

The latest player on the QPR manager’s radar is Toulouse star Etienne Capoue.

He may though face serious opposition for the France international, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich and Everton.
