Highly-rated Danish defender Jores Okore will not be leaving current club FC Nordsjaelland today, his agent has stressed.

Okore has been strongly linked with two English powerhouses in the form of Liverpool and Manchester United, and it was confirmed that talk of a switch to Old Trafford was flattering for the defender.

But the Denmark international will not be leaving his homeland on transfer deadline day today, his representative Nikola Juric has claimed.

"There is nothing that is going to happen regarding Jores today", Juric told

"There has been a lot of talk and a little bit of something concrete, but that was not interesting enough", he continued.

"We are in no hurry. It must be the right thing for him if it happens."

Okore was one of the bright spots of Nordsjaelland’s dismal Champions League campaign this season, further boosting his already high stock.
