Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun believes that manager Rafael Benitez will always bring out the best in the players he has at his disposal.

Benayoun spent the first half of the season on loan at West Ham, a spell which was blighted by injury, but has now returned to Stamford Bridge to play under Benitez.

The Israeli schemer, who turned out under the Spaniard at Liverpool, feels that the former Valencia coach is an excellent manager and has backed him to get the most out of the Blues squad, though he does add Benitez has not walked into the most ideal of situations.

"Rafa always puts out an organised team, they know what he wants and he brings his ideas and tactics to the team", Benayoun told his club’s official site.

"It is not an easy situation for everyone, to come in the middle of the season, but I do believe there are the right players now for this team to fight for the trophies that are left and to do our best, and I am sure Rafa will bring 100 per cent out of everyone."

Chelsea travel to face Newcastle today and will be looking to bounce back from letting a two-goal lead slip against Reading in midweek, with the game ending as a 2-2 draw.

Benitez’s brief is to at least secure Champions League football for Chelsea next season.
