Anzhi Makhachkala remain interested in out-of-favour Chelsea winger Florent Malouda and could pounce before the Russian transfer window shuts.

According to Sport24, the Dagestan giants may offer Chelsea €1M for the 32-year-old, in order to snap him up for the second half of the Russian season.

Malouda has been sidelined at Stamford Bridge and was expected to leave Chelsea last summer, but surprisingly remained.

He now has just six months left on his contract and the Blues would surely be open to an offer from Anzhi Makhachkala.

Malouda is keen to move for regular first team football, with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil clearly in the France international's mind.

The winger joined Chelsea in 2007, moving from French giants Lyon.

He has not played a senior match for Chelsea so far this season.

A switch to Anzhi Makhachkala could fit the bill for Malouda, while giving Chelsea at least some fee before he is able to leave for free during the summer.
