Alessandro Del Piero is being courted by Brazilian side Flamengo, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.
The former Juventus hitman currently turns out in Australia’s A-League for Sydney FC.
But even at the ripe old age of 38 years old, Del Piero has shown he is still more than able to make an impact in games.
Del Piero has so far bagged ten goals in 16 games for Sydney and looks to have attracted the attention of Flamengo.
The Brazilian giants are thought to have taken steps to open discussions for Del Piero.

It remains to be seen whether Del Piero will be willing to end his Australian adventure to head to Brazil for one final Indian summer.
Last year Flamengo finished a disappointing eleventh in the Brazilian top flight.
