Anderlecht have dropped their asking price for Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia.

The Belgian giants have been looking for €8M for Biglia and were prepared to sell the player during last month’s transfer window for that amount.

Now though the fee needed to secure the 25-year-old is just €5.5M.

"If we receive €5.5M for Biglia during the next transfer window then we will be happy", Anderlecht sporting director Herman Van Holsbeeck told Foot Magazine.

Biglia has been keen to leave Anderlecht for some time, with the midfielder holding the desire to compete in a bigger league.
