Mario Balotelli feels he is starting to reap the rewards of playing regularly at new club AC Milan.

The Italy international struck in the 78th minute for Milan in last night’s game against Parma, scoring the side’s second in a 2-1 win, after an own goal by Gabriel Paletta had handed the Rossoneri the lead in the first half.

Parma scored in the 93rd minute, but it was little more than a consolation and the Rossoneri moved up third in Serie A ahead of the weekend games.

For Balotelli, who joined Milan from Manchester City last month, everything is clicking into place; his goal was his fourth in three games for the club.

"I am playing every game and that is what I need", he told Sky Italia.

"I feel that I am almost in top form", he added.

For Milan, the disappointing aspect is that Balotelli cannot play in the Champions League, having already appeared in the competition for Manchester City.

The Italian hitman is a player Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri could have certainly used in the club’s Round of 16 tie against Barcelona.
