Mohamed Sissoko believes that Fiorentina can become a great club as he explained just why he chose to join La Viola.

The powerful Mali midfielder has joined the Italian outfit on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season.

Sissoko was keen to move away from the Parc des Princes to enjoy regular first team football, which was at a premium in the French capital.

And he is happy to have landed in Italy with Fiorentina.

"I’ve seen many of Fiorentina’s games and they play good football", he told Mercato 365.
