In-demand Napoli striker Edinson Cavani insists he is staying focused on his job with the Azzurri and will not be distracted by the constant transfer speculation surrounding him.

Napoli recorded a rare 0-0 draw in Serie A yesterday, coming up short against Sampdoria at the San Paulo and as such missing the chance to take full advantage of Juventus’ defeat against Roma on Saturday.

Cavani has been linked with a number of clubs this season, with Arsenal one of the most recent, after the English club’s manager Arsene Wenger admitted a liking for the Uruguayan.

Bids may land for Cavani in the summer, but it is not something he wants to distract him in the present as he looks to power Napoli’s Scudetto charge.

"I’m very calm in this situation, I’m never deluded", he told Sky Italia when asked about his name being linked with so many of Europe’s biggest clubs.
