Norwich City new boy Ricky van Wolfswinkel has expressed his delight at having the opportunity to play in the Premier League with the Canaries, adding that he hopes to add something to what is already a "good team" at Carrow Road.
Norwich snapped up the young Dutch striker, signing the player for a total €12m, including €2m in bonuses, from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, who were keen to offload their star asset because of accumulating financial obligations.
With Van Wolfswinkel set to become a fully-fledged Norwich man come 1st July, the 24-year-old Holland international can no longer wait to wear his new yellow and green colours, telling the club’s Canary Magazine, "There is already a good team in Norwich and I hope I can add something to the squad.
"I see a bright future for all of us, me and Norwich. The Premier League has always been a competition in which I always wanted to test myself with", the Dutch striker added.
