New Celtic signing Amido Balde has explained that his playing style is quite similar to Tottenham Hotspur goal-poacher Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 22-year-old Portuguese striker was snapped up by the Hoops on a four-year contract from Liga Sagres side Vitoria Guimaraes yesterday, and was unveiled at Celtic Park.
The former Portugal Under-20 international is now looking forward to playing under Neil Lennon in the 2013/14 season, and he insists that he is a fighter and a believer.
"I am a fighter, a believer", he told his new club’s official site.

"I believe in myself. I have worked hard to be in this position today of wearing a Celtic shirt. I have worked for it and deserve it.
"My style is quite similar to Emmanuel Adebayor", he added. "I like to set up goals as well but I am here to score goals."
Balde scored nine times out of 27 games in the top tier of Portuguese football in the 2012/13 season, helping the Conquerors finish ninth in the league.
The 6ft 4inches tall striker also explained that he enjoyed watching the Celts play against Barcelona in the group stages of the Champions League this term, and he is looking ahead to these kinds of challenges with the Glasgow outfit.
"I am very happy to sign for Celtic. I want to face this challenge and give my best day-by-day to achieve big things at the club.
"It´s easy to be motivated as Celtic are a very big club and some very good players have played here so because of this it´s fantastic for me to be here.
"They have won a lot of trophies, one of the best clubs in Europe and play in the Champions League – that is why I am here”, Balde added.
The Celts, under Lennon, achieved a domestic double this season – clinching the Scottish Premier League title, as well as the Scottish Cup.
