Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup’s agent Bayram Tutumlu has insisted that there is no problem between the Danish boss and the club.

Tutumlu also explained that the problem is his, with the Welsh club’s chairman Huw Jenkins.

The club cut ties with the manager’s agent following a dispute over transfer policy. It was claimed that Tutumlu was trying to dictate the club’s transfer policy.

However, the agent has explained that his dispute will have no bearing on his client’s future with the Swans.

"There is no problem with Michael Laudrup and Swansea City", Tutumlu told BBC Wales.

"He is staying. It is my problem, my problem with Huw Jenkins.

"I spoke about it yesterday and I don’t want to speak about it again. The issue is now finished. I don’t want to speak about it anymore”, he added.

Laudrup has insisted that he will continue with the club as a manager and he is looking forward to adding the best players to the squad this summer, out of the available budget.

He also explained that his relationship with his agent will not change.

Laudrup guided the Swans to their first major trophy in England – the League Cup – this year. He also guided them to a top half finish in the Premier League.

The 48-year-old signed a contract extension at the Liberty Stadium in March, thus securing his future until June 2015.
