Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are seeing more than their fair share of exposure in the transfer market of late, with the latest homing in on a potential competitor in Paris-Saint Germain for Inter Milan star Fredy Guarin.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is no stranger to Guarin. Indeed, the two were together during their days at Primeira Liga side FC Porto. And the Portuguese tactician is keen for a reunion.
Such an attempt has already been stifled by the San Siro outfit earlier this month, when the Nerrazurri rejected a €20m offer from the London side.
The news may well have stoked Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, who are believed to be interested in making a swoop for Guarin as well.

But more than Anzhi, a new rival for Guarin’s signature has emerged with Ligue 1 top guns PSG, with the big-money club willing to top Spurs’ €20m bid to get their man locked down at the Parc des Princes, according to Sportitalia.
It remains to be seen which direction Guarin will move to, but should the three-way dance result in a deadlock, then the Inter man may see himself remain at the San Siro – he has a contract with the Serie A club until 2016.
