Swedish forward Ola Toivonen has been given the green light by his club PSV Eindhoven to join English Premier League side Norwich City this summer.
Marcel Brands, the technical director of the Eredivisie side, has stated that the club have reached an agreement with the Canaries, and it is now the 26-year-old’s decision over whether he wants to make the move.
It is believed that the Dutch giants have agreed a deal worth in the region of €6m from Norwich – who finished 11th in the Premier League last season.
"We are not going into the transaction details, but we have an agreement with Norwich City on Ola”, Brands told Sportbladet.

“Now it’s entirely up to him to decide whether he wants to make the move.”
Toivonen clocked up 17 appearances in the Dutch top flight with PSV in the 2012/13 season, picking up seven goals and two assists, as the club finished second in the Eredivisie, behind rivals Ajax.
The Sweden international – also linked with Premier League sides Everton and West Brom – has been at the Dutch club since January 2009, and his contract at the Philips Stadion runs until next summer.
Meanwhile, the Canaries have already snapped up 24-year-old Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel this summer.
