Chelsea have officially confirmed the release of four players.
The Blues are bidding farewell to Florent Malouda, Ross Turnbull, Yossi Benayoun and Paulo Ferreira.
All of the four see their contracts with the Europa League winners expire today.
Their departure has been signposted for some time. Malouda spent all of last season kicking his heels with the club’s Under-21 side after refusing to leave last summer and determining to see out his contract.

Turnbull meanwhile joined Chelsea in 2009 from Middlesbrough, but has hardly featured during his four years at the club.
Benayoun landed from Liverpool one year later, but found holding down a place in the Chelsea side to be difficult. He spent time on loan at Arsenal and West Ham and this summer has been linked with West Brom.
Ferreira joined Chelsea in 2004 from Porto and the 34-year-old has already signalled his desire to hang up his boots and retire from the game.
