Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of French striker Yaya Sanogo.
The 20-year-old lands at the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with French Ligue 2 side Auxerre.
The Gunners have been doing the legwork to sign the hitman, with Arsene Wenger and Giles Grimandi having flown to Paris earlier this season to convince Sanogo to join the club.
Now he has penned a long-term deal with the Gunners and Wenger could not be happier.

"Sanogo is a good young signing for us. He has shown that he has potential with his recent performances for Auxerre and also for the France Under-20 side", Wenger told his club’s official site.
"We are looking forward to Yaya joining us and continuing his promising development."
