Stoke City new boy Marc Muniesa has revealed his delight in signing with the Britannia Stadium outfit and says he had "never imagined" he would be able to achieve his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Relatively new Stoke boss Mark Hughes is marking his territory in the club dugout in style by bringing in the promising young centre-back, who was recently released by Catalan giants Barcelona.
Not too long ago, Muniesa was believed to be hotly in the crosshairs of Eredivisie champions Ajax, though such a deal failed to push over the line.
"I never imagined I would get the chance to play in the Premier League, but when Stoke called me I decided to come here with my family to speak to them", Muniesa told his new club’s official site.
