Marko Marin has edged towards officially becoming a Sevilla player after passing his medical at the club today, following his loan move from Chelsea.
The 24-year-old is on a season-long loan with Los Rojiblancos, after finding regular football hard to come by at Stamford Bridge.
He had signed for Chelsea from Werder Bremen last year but could only manage five starts in 16 first team appearances.
Marin has the opportunity to experience Europa League football with Sevilla, who gained a qualifying spot thanks to bans imposed on Malaga and Rayo Vallecano.

His transfer had been subject to the medical, according to Chelsea, and now it appears he is set to join the La Liga side with a presentation set for later today.
The Germany international, with 16 senior caps, had started his career as a youth player for Eintracht Frankfurt and then Borussia Monchengladbach before making the full grade at the latter.
He earned himself a move to Werder Bremen and following a three-year stay was picked up by Chelsea on a five-year deal.
However, his opportunities seem even more limited at Chelsea, thanks to the recent arrival of Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen, while Marco van Ginkel is also set to join.
