Norwich City have announced Nathan Redmond as their third summer signing with the former Birmingham City player penning a four-year deal to be reunited with manager Chris Hughton.
Redmond cut his footballing teeth with the Blues’ youth teams and made the senior grade in 2011, and eventually came to playing under Hughton for a season in the Championship.
He has followed his old boss to Norwich, and told the club’s official site: "I’d probably say I’ve played some of my best football under him so far. He was very influential on my career at Birmingham.
"He gave me the chance to play and the chance to express myself every time that I stepped on to the field and I feel like on the bigger stage he’ll do exactly the same thing."

Indeed, Redmond has already impressed on the continental stage, when Birmingham played the Europa League in 2011/12, and even managed a goal against Portuguese side CD Nacional.
He finishes his Birmingham career with 82 games in all competitions and nine goals, while he also played for England in the recent European Under-21 Championships this summer.
And Hughton was delighted to have secured his old charge’s signature, as Norwich prepare for another season of avoiding relegation.
"He is a player that was of interest to us for some time and the situation has now come about that we can get him on our terms", Hughton said.
"He’s very keen to develop his own game; he’s one of these lads that likes to be on the training pitch and is usually one of the last ones off the training pitch.
"I’m sure the move won’t faze him but this is still a part of his development and one he is very much looking forward to."
