Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski will turn out for Bayern Munich, but only from 2014/15 when his contract at the Ruhr giants has expired.

Lewandowski’s current contract with Dortmund runs out next summer and he has been keen to join Bayern Munich this year.

The Bavarians though have been rebuffed by Dortmund, who want Lewandowski to stay for the whole of next season, despite the fact that they will then lose him for free.

"We can still enjoy a season of Robert", Klopp explained to Welt am Sontag.

"It is a fact that next year he will be making the move to Bayern."

Dortmund have already lost a key player in Mario Gotze to Bayern Munich this summer and are not keen to repeat the experience.

Klopp has been busy himself in the transfer market, signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Saint-Etienne, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also tipped to arrive imminently from Shakhtar Donetsk.
