Andrea Pirlo Too Old for Real Madrid – Carlo Ancelotti Takes Spanish Giants Out of Race for Tottenham Hotspur Target

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out making a move for Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo due to his age.

Pirlo has been linked with Real Madrid in some quarters, while Tottenham Hotspur are also confirmed admirers of the Juventus schemer.

But for Ancelotti, the time at which Pirlo could have landed at the Bernabeu has now come and gone, despite how highly he rates the 34-year-old.

Pirlo could be available on a free transfer next summer with his contract at Juventus due to expire at the end of June.
