Sergio Aguero is hopeful that Manchester City will be able to put together a strong run in the Champions League, but is aware that the task will be a difficult one.
Manchester City have qualified from their Champions League group, however look poised to finish in second spot behind Bayern Munich, barring a favourable turn of results from their last two games.
Finishing second could lead to the English side being paired with one of the strongest sides on the continent, such as Barcelona.
But Aguero has struck a confident note about the Citizens' chances in Europe's showpiece competition.

"We've qualified from the group stages and hopefully we can go further", the Argentine striker told his club's official site.
"I think we have an excellent squad to progress in the Champions League but we know that it will be difficult.
"We will just wait and see what team we play in the next round and do our best to progress."
Manchester City are next in Champions League action on 27th November when they host Czech minnows Viktoria Plzen at the Etihad Stadium.
