Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson has backed his side to quickly bounce back from a home defeat against Newcastle United.

Spurs went down 1-0 against the Magpies at White Hart Lane before the international break, a blow which sees them back in seventh in the Premier League table.

Andre Villas-Boas' men are having to bide their time with the international fixtures currently in full swing, but will meet Manchester City on 24th November.

And Dawson is confident that they can recover from their latest setback.
