Italian side Cagliari are close to snapping up former Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan.

The custodian terminated his contract with Real Madrid in the summer and has been on the lookout for another club in the search for regular first team football.

 


Now the ex-Real Madrid shot-stopper is close to bouncing back at Cagliari, with a four-year deal on the table for Adan.

The 26-year-old represented Spain at various youth levels, while former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho handed him first team action last season.

Cagliari currently sit 13th in this season's Serie A standings, having picked up 13 points from 12 games.

The island outfit have conceded 15 goals in the Italian top flight so far.
