Marco Verratti is tired of the constant speculation around his future, according to his agent, despite talk of a winter move to Napoli surfacing last month.

Verratti has committed himself to Paris Saint-Germain until 2018, this after a prolonged summer of transfer rumours.

Fiorentina became very heavily linked – as were Napoli – and he admitted to speaking to them about a move. It has now emerged that Verratti, in fact, rejected a transfer to Napoli back in 2011 when he was at Pescara.

Regardless, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis sparked fresh chatter in October when he expressed admiration for Verratti, but agent Donato Di Campli is now reaching his tipping point.

"We must stop talking about Marco", he told Tutto Mercato. "Every day, every hour, there is news out about him and frankly we are tired.

"We are facing a real trickle [of news]. Someday someone prints that Verratti is going to one team and the next day to another.

"It is absolutely true that Marco rejected Napoli [in 2011] because he did not want to stay another season on loan at Pescara.

"The relationship between the boy and [Pescara] fans is important – one of true love. Whoever wants to get in the way to get publicity, they're wrong."
