Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is cool on comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo, but has labelled two Brazilian legends as his inspiration.

The Colombia international has turned heads with his performances for La Viola so far this season, attracting interest from English giants Arsenal, who sent their chief negotiator to Florence, along with Bayern Munich and Juventus.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has admitted that a Cuadrado sale may help the club continue to invest in improving the team as a whole – and so highly is he rated that a Cristiano Ronaldo comparison has been whispered.

But that is not one that Cuadrado is keen to associate himself with at present.

"I do not like to compare us", Cuadrado told Sportmediaset.

"He is a champion and is already complete.

"My idols? Ronaldo, the phenomenon, that's clear, and Ronaldinho."
