FIFA has rejected a complaint filed by Tunisia against Cameroon related to the World Cup playoff between the two countries.

Tunisia were defeated by Cameroon in the playoff, but the Tunisian FA filed a complaint with FIFA claiming that two Cameroonian players were ineligible.

But FIFA has dismissed the complaint, judging that Joel Matip and Eric Choupo-Moting were perfectly able to participate for the Indomitable Lions.

"FIFA has informed the Tunisian Federation today that no violation of FIFA regulations has been committed by the Cameroonian Federation", world football's governing body said in a statement.
