Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he is fully fit after a recent injury and ready to return to action for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo played no part in Real Madrid's recent Champions League victory over Galatasaray, while he also sat out the club's weekend win against Real Valladolid, on both occasions due to a muscle strain.

But the Portuguese is determined not to miss any more time featuring in Carlo Ancelotti's starting eleven.

"I have actually been fit for a few days in all", Ronaldo told reporters.

"We preferred not to force things against Valladolid, but for the next Real Madrid match I am definitely in the squad."

Real Madrid are next in action in a Copa del Rey clash against Olimpic de Xativa on Saturday.

After that Los Blancos return to Champions League action, rounding off their group stage campaign with a trip to Denmark to play FC Copenhagen.
