Leeds United assistant manager Nigel Gibbs believes that wide duo Jimmy Kebe and Cameron Stewart will be "a threat to any opposition".

Both wingers have been brought to Elland Road in the current transfer window, something which has allowed manager Brian McDermott to change his formation to 4-4-2 with an emphasis on width.

The pair were in action during Leeds' 1-0 defeat at home against Leicester at the weekend and Gibbs was impressed with the positive signs.

"You can see Jimmy hadn't played for a while, but I thought he was very effective without the ball and he created some good chances in the first half", the assistant boss told LUTV.

"Him and Cameron are going to be a threat to any opposition."

Gibbs also explained he was pleased with how the side adapted to a 4-4-2 formation, which McDermott and himself believe will bring out the best in Leeds.

"The players were comfortable in the shape, the players who came in did really well", he said.

"We're used to playing with wingers and we've been unable to do that until this January.

"Hopefully you'll see the best of us now."
