West Ham United's Under-21 striker Elliott Lee has explained that playing at Old Trafford tonight will be a special occasion and believes the players will be "really up for it."

It was the same place at which the 19-year-old made his senior team debut last year, playing the final 12 minutes of his team's 1-0 FA Cup third round defeat to hosts Manchester United.

"It was one of the proudest days of my life, making my debut, and I don't think there are many better places to do so than Old Trafford", Lee told West Ham TV.

The Englishman is now hoping that the electrifying atmosphere of the Theatre of Dreams will help him and his team-mates get back to winning ways after having lost two consecutive matches against West Bromwich Albion Under-21s and Fulham Under-21s last month.

"We want to get back on track now, get three points and start climbing back up the table", Lee added.

"Playing in any stadium is good and it makes you perform better, but playing at Old Trafford the boys are going to be really up for it."
