West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce believes his side have a great chance of coming out of today’s game against Norwich City with the full three points, provided they maintain their defensive stability.

The Hammers, who have 12 Premier League clean sheets this season, the most by any club, are currently 15th in the league standings with 25 points from 25 fixtures, courtesy of consecutive victories over Swansea City and Aston Villa, both by 2-0 margins, on 1st and 8th February respectively.

However, Allardyce warned West Ham not to get carried away against Norwich at Upton Park as the manager wants his side to honour their defensive responsibilities.

“Against Norwich, we've just got to maintain first and foremost our defensive stability and not get carried away about opening ourselves up to Norwich thinking that we can go and win this game without doing that defensive responsiblity, which has been our backbone this season”, he explained to West Ham’s official site.

“If we do that then we'll have a great chance of taking another three points."

Norwich, who are just a place below West Ham in the table, defeated the Hammers 3-1 in the corresponding fixture at Carrow Road in November.
