Leeds United captain Ross McCormack has warned his team-mates that nothing less than hard work is needed if the side are to have any chance of beating Millwall on Saturday.

McCormack's men have slipped to 15th in the Championship table following a poor run of results which has seen their last three games end in defeat.

If Leeds are to have any chance of making a late surge to the playoff spots a win over a relegation-threatened Millwall at Elland Road is essential.

But McCormack does not believe that will be easy, telling his club's site: "You know what you are going to get from Millwall.

"They will come to Elland Road and will work hard.

"They won’t give you anything for nothing. It is up to us to go and produce a positive performance and result.

"In the lead up to December we were excellent at home and we’ll be looking to get that back."

Millwall have been solid in recent games, not conceding more than one goal in a game for their last seven encounters.

Ian Holloway's men drew 0-0 on Saturday against Charlton in their last match.
