Leeds United manager Brian McDermott has expressed his pleasure at the start of the Massimo Cellino era at the club, fired into life today with a 2-0 home win over Blackpool in the Championship.

The win, via two Luke Murphy goals, all but ensures Leeds a spot in next season's Championship, putting the side ten points above the relegation zone with only four games left to play.

And McDermott is delighted to look up at the directors' box and see Cellino.
