West Ham midfielder Kevin Nolan believes the club will be aiming for Europe next season rather than worry about avoiding relegation.

The Hammers had a poor first half of the campaign this term, but picked up markedly in the second half to pull comfortably away from the relegation zone and dream of a mid-table finish.

Nolan is sure a similar pattern will not be repeated again next term, with a summer of adding to the squad ahead for Sam Allardyce's men.

"Building for next season is a massive priority and I'm sure, once we come back, this time next year we won't be talking about relegation, we'll be talking about trying to push for Europe", the midfielder told his club's site.
