Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri feels his side's Champions League game against Atletico Madrid in Spain last night was a balanced affair, even if the Bianconeri ended up losing 1-0.

The Italian champions enjoyed more possession in the game, 61 per cent to Atletico Madrid's 39, but the Spaniards had more goal attempts and made the only breakthrough of the game when Arda Turan scored with 15 minutes left.

And following last night's results, all the teams in Group A, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos and Malmo, have three points from two games.

Allegri though feels his side competed well with Atletico Madrid and have no reason to feel down about the defeat.

"We paid for our mistake in run-up to the goal. It was a defeat from a game where we played well. We knew it was going to be a difficult match. The game was quite balanced and Juventus dominated part of the time", he told UEFA.

"If we didn't shoot more is because Atleti played well. We had opportunities but we failed in the decisive pass.

"We tried to keep possession to control the game. I think we played a good match from a technical point of view.

"It doesn't change all we have been doing up to now", he concluded.
