Manchester United defender Phil Jones has identified Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko as their main threat for their clash tomorrow against the Magpies.

The Red Devils will take an away trip to St. James’ Park to take on John Carver’s Newcastle United side, who are eleventh in the league table at the moment.

Manchester United are aware that anything less than a win tomorrow night could prove catastrophic in their quest to secure a Champions League berth next season, therefore they are expected to go full throttle at Newcastle.

However, Jones admits that an away trip to St. James’ Park is never easy and something unexpected is always on the cards when the Magpies play at home in front of their noisy supporters.

"It's a very difficult place to go, especially for a night game", the defender told MUTV.

"It's a big crowd, big stadium, big pitch. It's always tricky up there as you don't know what to expect at times. Perhaps the unexpected is in their favour so we have to be wary of them and go into the game positively."

Jones marked out Sissoko as a player who the Red Devils should be careful of, as the Frenchman has often been the driving force behind Newcastle’s midfield this season.

"I think Sissoko is a big player for them", the 23-year-old added.

"He's a powerful runner, very aggressive and strong – he is probably their main man.”
