Manuel Pellegrini is not keen to lose Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure as Inter Milan prepare a €15m summer offer for the player.
Toure is one of the most important members of Pellegrini’s squad at the Etihad and their form without him during the African Cup of Nations suggested that the team are still heavily reliant on the Ivorian.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini is a big fan of the player and has recently expressed an interest in reuniting with Toure at the San Siro in the future.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are ready to make a move for the 31-year-old in the summer and are prepared to table a €15m bid for the player with the English champions.
However, Manchester City are believed to be ready to resist any offer for their influential midfielder as Pellegrini is desperate not to lose him and believes Toure still has a major role to play in the team despite his advancing years.

It is also believed the figure of €15m is too low for a player of Toure’s calibre and Inter are also not in a position to meet the €10m wage demands of the player either.
The midfielder has continued to remain influential for Manchester City this season and has made 29 appearances in all competitions.
