Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn struggled to contain his displeasure at the club's failure to answer his call for loan additions at a press conference earlier today.

Redfearn has been vocal in his desire for Leeds to raid the emergency loan market to bolster the players at his disposal, handing a number of lists of potential signings to chairman Andrew Umbers.

But it has been indicated by the Elland Road boardroom that the squad is already of a sufficient size – and Redfearn's calls for fresh faces looks set to be ignored.

The 49-year-old was asked at a press conference about the chairman indicating the squad is big enough and did not look best pleased.

"I just concentrate on the game on Saturday now", Redfearn said.

"I just want to move on now. We've got a big game on Saturday and we want to do well in it. We had a good result in midweek and we just want to move on and concentrate on that."

He was pressed on whether he feels he has enough in his squad though. And Redfearn answered: "We proved we can adapt and adjust on Wednesday, so if that [no new signings] is the case, we adapt and adjust and get on."

The Leeds boss was still pressed however on whether it has been made more difficult to bring players in.

Redfearn shot back: "Move on mate, move on."

Leeds are next in action tomorrow when they take a trip to the DW Stadium to face struggling Wigan Athletic.

The Whites will come face to face with former player Jason Pearce, who swapped Leeds for Wigan in the winter transfer window.
