West Ham United goalkeeper Darren Randolph believes his side will rise to the occasion for their upcoming London derby with Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow.
The Hammers have tasted success in London derbies this season, having already defeated clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
And Randolph, who joined West Ham from Birmingham City in the summer, explained that he is eager to witness his side’s clash against Spurs.
The Republic of Ireland international further explained that tomorrow’s derby at White Hart Lane is very important to everyone associated with the Upton Park outfit.
“I hope you are looking forward to our encounter with Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, as it’ll be my first taste of this particular London derby, I certainly am”, he wrote on his blog.

“Talking to the lads who have been here for a while, you can tell how important it is to everyone at the club.
“There’s a special atmosphere around the training ground whenever the big games come round and I am confident we will more than rise to the occasion.”
Randolph, who counts Charlton Athletic and Motherwell amongst his former employers, has thus far made six appearances in all competitions for West Ham, keeping four clean sheets.
The 28-year-old’s side, who played out a 1-1 draw with Everton in their last game, are currently sixth in the Premier League with 21 points from 12 outings.
