Arsenal and Barcelona target Riechedly Bazoer has revealed that he knocked back interest from Napoli to stay at Ajax this month.

Bazoer has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe, including Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal, and he recently revealed that he is being closely watched by European champions Barcelona.

A highly rated talent at Ajax, there has been speculation that Napoli have made a €25m move for the midfielder this month and while Bazoer knows about the club’s interest, he revealed that he refused to leave Ajax.

He insisted that such an offer from the Serie A giants was never going to throw him off his mark at Ajax, as he wants to continue to develop at the Amsterdam ArenA.

The 19-year-old admits that he likes playing regularly at Ajax and feels that for the moment, the Dutch giants are the best club for him to further grow.
