West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian feels the club are having a great season after registering a narrow 1-0 win over Sunderland earlier today.
A 30th minute strike from Michail Antonio was good enough to earn all three points for West Ham against Sunderland and they are now unbeaten at home in the league since August.
While the relegation threatened Black Cats did exert some pressure in the second half, the Hammers had too much quality and comfortably weathered the late storm from Sam Allardyce’s team to get the win.
Adrian admits that after the break the game got a little tougher for the home side, but he lauded the efforts of the defenders to keep Sunderland at bay, despite coming under pressure.
The goalkeeper told West Ham TV: "It's hard in the second half because they were fighting for their lives and they wanted to get one point minimum.

"We defended so well and had another good chance and hit the crossbar again, but I think we deserved the win."
The Hammer stressed the importance of maintaining their form, as he feels the club are enjoying a purple run at this point in the season.
"We're on a good run and need to keep going. All the squad are showing great team spirit in the recent games.
"We are in a good position in the league and also in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, so we are having a great season."
West Ham moved up to fifth in the Premier League, but could slip down again if Manchester United win at home against Arsenal tomorrow.
