Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Dinamo Zagreb forward Marko Pjaca as the Croatian club's sporting director feels that the Premier League is the most likely destination for the player.

Pjaca has been linked with being on Jurgen Klopp's wanted list at Anfield, however it is Italian sides who have been putting in all the legwork in recent days.

AC Milan and Juventus are keen, while it was even claimed Inter have bid €15m and are closing on handing Pjaca a medical; Pjaca is currently on holiday and has denied having signed anything with the Nerazzurri.

For Dinamo Zagreb sporting director Marko Vukelic, it is a switch to England which is presently the most likely course for the Croatia international, despite the rumbles about a move to Italy.

He told FCInterNews.it: "I do not know how to answer that question [about the chances of Inter and other Italian teams], but I can say that his future could be in the Premier League.

"The English league are in pole position to sign him", Vukelic added.

Pjaca was recently in action at Euro 2016 with Croatia and has now headed off on holiday to recharge his batteries.

The Dinamo Zagreb man is now expected to see his future resolved as clubs queue up to add him to their ranks this summer.
