AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio has rejected offers from Liverpool and Napoli this summer, and he would only consider a move to Juventus, it has been claimed.

A product of the AC Milan academy, the 23-year-old defender is considered one of the brightest talents in Italy, and is an important member of the national team.

Despite the Rossoneri’s recent financial problems, the club have been unwilling to part ways with De Sciglio, but they did receive offers for the defender this summer.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, AC Milan received bids from Napoli and Liverpool for the right-back, but De Sciglio refused to consider those offers.

The defender is said to be happy to stay at the San Siro, and would be only willing to leave if Italian champions Juventus come calling for him in the near future.

However, AC Milan could refuse to sell their academy product to their historic rivals Juventus and would rather see him leave Italy if they eventually have to sell him.

De Sciglio has made 106 senior appearances for the Rossoneri, and has a contract until 2018 with the club.

He has also earned 26 caps for the Azzurri.
