Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi has advised the club's fans to focus on backing the players and the manager, following the closure of the summer transfer window.

A number of the Forest faithful have been unhappy about the club's business in the summer transfer window, with misery heaped on by the Championship side offloading highly rated talent Oliver Burke to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig for £13m.

But Al Hasawi insists that the City Ground outfit are in good shape and the time has come to focus on backing the players and the manager.

The club's chairman and owner wrote on Twitter: "The club is in a good position right now.

"We should focus on backing the players and the manager in order for the club to progress", the Forest supremo added.
