Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits that his side’s performance at Stoke City was the perfect start to a difficult run of games this month.
The north Londoners produced a commanding performance at the bet365 Stadium to thrash Stoke 4-0 and get some momentum going into their season after the international break.
Heung-Min Son scored two to establish Spurs’ dominance in the game, and Dele Alli and Harry Kane scored a goal each in the second half to polish off a lethargic looking Stoke side.
Pochettino was delighted with the performance, and ahead of a busy period of the season, where they will be playing in Europe and domestic competition, the Spurs boss feels it was a perfect result for his side.
On the performance, the Tottenham manager was quoted as saying by the BBC: "I'm very pleased.
